The Lexus RX 450H has 2 recalls covering the 2010 and 2016 model years, with the more serious being a floor mat defect on 2010 models where an unsecured or incompatible mat can trap the accelerator pedal in the fully pressed position, making the vehicle difficult to slow or stop and raising the risk of a crash. The 2016 model year has a separate compliance recall involving seat upholstery materials that may not meet flammability standards when the fabric components are tested individually, though the seat assembly as a whole does pass the standard.
