The Lincoln MKT Limousine/Livery has 1 recall covering 2013 models built between March and April 2012, where rear brake rotor bolts may not be fully seated, causing the bolt head to protrude above the wheel mounting surface and allowing the wheel to loosen and separate from the vehicle.
When a wheel separates at speed, the driver loses control of that corner of the vehicle, raising the crash risk significantly. This recall applies only to vehicles sold through the Town Car Package upfitter channel for conversion to hearse or livery use.
