The LiveWire S2 Del Mar has 3 recalls, all affecting 2024 models, with the most serious being a high-voltage fuse that can degrade and fail unexpectedly, cutting drive power while the motorcycle is in motion and raising the risk of a crash. A separate software issue in the vehicle supervisory control system can also trigger an unplanned powertrain shutdown when internal voltage thresholds are exceeded, producing the same result: sudden loss of drive power with no warning. On the chassis side, rear axle and lower shock joint nuts may not have been properly tightened at the factory, which can cause the rear suspension to become unstable and compromise handling while riding.
