3 recalls across 1 model year
The LiveWire S2 Del Mar has 3 recalls, all affecting 2024 model year motorcycles, with the most serious being a high-voltage fuse that can degrade and open without warning, cutting drive power while riding and raising the risk of a crash.
The other two recalls also affect 2024 models and both involve sudden loss of drive power or stability. A software issue in the vehicle supervisory control system can cause the powertrain to shut down unexpectedly when internal voltage thresholds are exceeded, again leaving the rider without drive power mid-ride. On the mechanical side, rear axle and lower shock joint nuts may not have been tightened sufficiently at the factory, which can allow looseness to develop and destabilize the motorcycle while riding.
