The 2024 model year also has a software issue where the vehicle supervisory control system can exceed internal voltage thresholds and trigger an unexpected powertrain shutdown, again cutting drive power mid-ride. On the mechanical side, the rear axle nut and lower shock joint nut on 2024 models may not have been tightened to spec, which can allow the rear suspension to shift and destabilize the motorcycle while riding.
