The Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC43 4MATIC has 3 recalls covering 2024–2026 model years, the most serious being a steering coupling bolt that may not have been fully tightened on 2024–2025 vehicles, allowing the coupling to work loose from the steering rack and cause a sudden loss of steering control.
On 2025 models, the infotainment control unit can reset while driving, blanking the instrument panel display and removing the speedometer and warning lights from view. On 2026 models, the center rear seat belt may have been installed without the child seat locking function, meaning a child restraint may not hold properly in a crash.
