The Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC43 4MATIC has 3 recalls covering 2024 through 2026 model years, the most serious being a steering coupling bolt that may not have been tightened properly on 2024-2025 models, allowing the coupling to loosen from the steering rack and causing a loss of steering control.
On 2026 models, the center rear seat belt may have been installed without the child seat protection function, meaning it cannot properly lock a child restraint in a crash. On 2025 models, the infotainment control unit can reset while driving and cause the instrument panel display to go blank, removing the speedometer and warning lights from view.
