MERCEDES-BENZ E 400 Recalls

The Mercedes-Benz E 400 has 2 recalls covering 2017-2018 model years, with the most serious being a front seatback locking failure on 2017-2018 Coupe and 4Matic Coupe models where the right side of the seatback can fail to lock and fold forward in a crash, raising the risk of injury to the occupant. The other recall affects 2018 Cabrio and 4Matic Cabrio models, where the ISOFIX child seat anchor system may not have been properly secured to the body, allowing the anchor console to partially pull away in a crash and reduce the protection a child seat provides.
