The Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 has 2 recalls spanning 2007 through 2013, with the most serious affecting 2012-2013 models where rear suspension links can fail while riding, causing the rear suspension to collapse suddenly and raising the risk of a crash. The other recall applies to 2007 models equipped with the factory accessory top case, where the mounting bracket can fracture with use. If the bracket fails, the top case can separate from the motorcycle while underway, creating a road obstacle for other riders and drivers, and the sudden loss of the case can also upset the motorcycle's balance enough to cause a fall.
