MOTO GUZZI V85 TT Recalls

The Moto Guzzi V85 TT has 4 recalls, all affecting the 2020 model year, with the most serious being a final drive output seal that can leak oil onto the rear tire, reducing traction and raising the risk of losing control. The oil leak issue appears across two filings describing the same underlying defect: oil escaping from the final drive seal can coat the rear tire and sharply reduce grip, particularly mid-corner. The other two recalls both address the footrest mounting system, where the retaining clip holding the footrest pin can break and allow the footrest to fall away from the motorcycle while riding. A rider who loses a footrest unexpectedly can lose their footing and control, and the detached footrest becomes a hazard for other vehicles on the road.
