2 recalls across 2 model years
The Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser has 2 recalls, with the most serious affecting 1992 models where the anti-lock brake modulator can corrode and leak fluid from the front brake circuit, reducing braking effectiveness and extending stopping distances without any warning to the driver.
On 1984 models, a small nylon bushing in the cruise control servo can slip out of position, causing the engine to rev unexpectedly or continue running after the key is turned off. If the servo rod wears through its connection point and catches on surrounding components, the throttle can stick open, making the vehicle difficult or impossible to slow down.
