PONTIAC TORRENT Recalls

The Pontiac Torrent has 2 recalls, both affecting 2007 models, with the more critical being a windshield bonding defect where incorrect primer used during installation can allow the windshield, rear liftgate glass, or side stationary glass to separate from the body in a frontal crash or rollover. The other 2007 recall involves the passenger seat sensor, which can misread a small adult in the front passenger seat due to a calibration error. If that misidentification occurs and the airbags deploy in a crash, the front passenger airbag may not fire, leaving that occupant without full restraint protection.
