7 recalls across 5 model years
The Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has 7 recalls spanning 2018 through 2025, with the most serious being a 2025 model year suspension strut where a retaining ring can come loose, dislodging the strut and causing sudden loss of handling and vehicle control.
The 2025 model year also has a high-pressure fuel pump whose mounting fasteners may not be fully tightened, allowing fuel to leak near potential ignition sources and raising the risk of an engine fire. A separate 2025 recall covers the rearview camera, which can fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing visibility behind the car.
On 2021 models, the front lower trailing arms were not forged correctly and can fracture, causing sudden loss of steering and directional control. That same model year has two occupant restraint issues: the rear seatbelt retractor can fail to properly secure a child restraint system in a crash, and on 2021 through 2023 models, using the compact charging cable at the 100% charge setting on a standard 220V/240V home outlet can draw more current than the outlet handles, overheating the outlet or cable and creating a fire risk.
Going back to 2018, the lower seatbelt anchor bolt on the outboard rear seats may not have been tightened properly at the factory, meaning the anchor can pull free in a crash and leave a rear occupant without effective belt restraint.
