4 recalls across 5 model years
The Porsche Panamera 4S Executive has 4 recalls covering 2017-2021 model years, the most serious being a coolant pump electrical short on 2017-2021 vehicles where humidity enters the climate control system's external coolant pump and can cause a fire.
The 2018 model year carries two additional recalls. A rear suspension defect on certain 2018 trims, including the 4S Executive, can cause an unexpected change in handling that raises the risk of a crash. There is also an electrical issue on 2018 models across a wide range of Panamera variants where a fault can impair driveability, again increasing crash risk. Rounding out the recall history, 2017-2018 models have a brake pad wear sensor issue where the driver may not receive an alert when the pads are worn down, meaning the brakes can lose stopping effectiveness without warning.
