3 recalls across 5 model years
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has 3 recalls covering 2018 through 2023 model years, with the most serious affecting 2021-2023 vehicles where using a standard 220V/240V home outlet at the 100% charge setting can overtax the outlet or charging cable, causing it to overheat and potentially start a fire.
The 2018 model year has two separate issues. On the suspension side, certain 2018 trims including the Turbo S E-Hybrid variants can develop a rear suspension fault that produces unexpected changes in handling, raising the risk of a crash. There is also an electrical system defect on certain 2018 models that can impair driveability, again increasing crash risk.
