3 recalls across 4 model years
The Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo has 3 recalls covering 2021 through 2024 model years, with the most serious being a high-voltage battery defect on 2021 models where an internal short circuit within the battery modules can cause a fire.
The 2021 through 2024 model years share a charging-related recall: when using a standard 220V/240V household outlet at the 100% charge setting, some outlets cannot handle the current drawn by the compact charging system, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat and potentially catch fire. On 2022 models, the instrument cluster fails to trigger the seat belt warning light or audible chime when a passenger is unbelted, leaving that occupant without a reminder to buckle up before a crash.
