3 recalls across 4 model years
The Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo has 3 recalls covering 2021–2024 model years, with the most serious being a high-voltage battery defect on 2021 models where an internal short circuit within the battery modules can lead to a fire.
The 2021–2024 model years share a recall involving the compact charging system used with standard 220V/240V household outlets. When charging at the 100% setting, some home outlets cannot handle the current draw, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat and creating a fire risk. On 2022 models, the seat belt warning system fails to activate its dashboard light or audible chime when a passenger is unbelted, leaving that occupant without a prompt to buckle up before a crash.
