3 recalls across 4 model years
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo has 3 recalls spanning 2021 through 2024, with the most serious being a high-voltage battery defect on 2023 models where insufficient sealant allows liquid to enter the battery, causing electrical arcing and raising the risk of a vehicle fire.
The 2021 and 2022 model years share a separate battery concern where internal short circuits within the battery modules can also lead to fire. There is also a charging-related recall covering all 2021 through 2024 model years: when using the included compact charging cable with a standard 220V/240V household outlet at the 100% charge setting, some outlets cannot handle the required current load, causing the outlet or the charging cable itself to overheat and potentially catch fire.
