3 recalls across 4 model years
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo has 3 recalls spanning 2021 through 2024, with the most serious being a high-voltage battery defect on 2023 models where insufficient sealant allows liquid to enter the battery, causing electrical arcing and raising the risk of fire.
The 2021 and 2022 model years share a separate battery concern where internal short circuits within the battery modules can also lead to fire. Across the full 2021-2024 production range, there is a charging system recall affecting vehicles that use the compact 220V/240V home charging cable at the 100% charge setting: some home outlets cannot handle the current draw, causing the outlet or the charging cable itself to overheat and potentially catch fire.
