The RAM Cargo Van has 1 recall affecting the 2013 model year, where vibration from aftermarket roof racks and attached equipment can trigger unintended deployment of the front passenger curtain and seat airbags while driving. The resonance travels through the rear quarter panel and reaches the airbag sensor, causing the airbags to fire without a crash. An unexpected deployment can startle the driver, obstruct forward visibility, and strike any occupant in the passenger seat.
