RENAULT 18 SPORTSWAGON Recalls

The Renault 18 Sportswagon has 2 recalls, both affecting the 1985 model year, with the most serious being a steering wheel shaft nut that can lose torque retention, allowing the steering wheel to detach from the column and leaving the driver with no steering control. The second recall involves the cruise control system, where a faulty accelerator clip can allow the accelerator to disengage from the throttle while cruise control is active, leaving the throttle stuck in a partially open position and preventing the driver from fully closing it.
