ROLLS-ROYCE CORNICHE Recalls

The Rolls-Royce Corniche has 2 recalls across its production run, the most serious being a 2001 model year defect where fuel vapors from the evaporative emission control system can collect inside a body cavity behind the driver's side rocker panel and ignite when the central window controls are operated. The 1977 model year has a separate issue with the automatic speed control system, where a wiring fault can prevent the cruise control from disengaging when the brakes are applied. If this happens, the driver must either hold the brakes until the engine stalls or shut off the ignition to bring the vehicle to a stop.
