The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph has 1 recall affecting the 1999 model year, where a mispositioned seat heater thermostat can allow the seat surface to reach excessive temperatures, potentially burning an occupant in contact with the cushion. Because the thermostat was placed incorrectly during assembly, it cannot accurately regulate heat output, and the seat surface can climb well beyond a safe temperature. In serious cases, prolonged contact with the overheated cushion can cause burns or damage to objects left on the seat.
