ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SHADOW Recalls

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow has 2 recalls covering the 1975 and 1976 model years, with the most serious being a steering defect on 1976 models where a pendulum lever securing nut can loosen and fall off, causing complete loss of steering control. The 1975 model year has a separate issue where high temperatures under the hood and beneath the floor can degrade hydraulic brake hoses, causing fluid to escape from the dual braking system and reducing stopping ability. A fire risk also exists if leaked fluid contacts hot surfaces.
