2019 Subaru Forester Recalls & Complaints

The 2019 Subaru Forester has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a PCV valve that can break apart and send fragments into the engine, causing a sudden loss of power while driving.

The electric power steering unit contains a connector that can short circuit, causing power steering assist to cut out and requiring significantly more physical effort to steer the vehicle. On the suspension side, the rear stabilizer bracket bolts can loosen and fall off, allowing the bracket to shift and reducing the vehicle's stability, particularly during cornering.
