The Suzuki Gladius 650 has 1 recall affecting the 2013 model year, where a fuel tank breather hose kinked during assembly can block airflow and cause abnormal pressure to build up or drop inside the tank, deforming the tank or cracking it and allowing fuel to leak. A cracked fuel tank on a motorcycle creates a fire risk and can result in fuel loss that leaves the rider stranded. The deformation alone can distort the tank enough to affect its fit and structural integrity even before a crack develops.
