Suzuki Gsx-R600 Recalls

The Suzuki GSX-R600 has 3 recalls spanning 1999 to 2013, with the most serious being a front brake master cylinder defect on 2004-2013 models where corrosion inside the cylinder can generate gas that reduces fluid pressure and weakens front braking power, raising the risk of a crash.

The 2008-2010 model years have an electrical system recall where an engine stall can occur without warning while riding, leaving the rider with reduced control and an increased crash risk. On 1999 models only, the cam chain tension adjuster can fail to maintain consistent tension, causing the cam chain to snap and the engine to seize suddenly, which can lock the rear wheel and cause a crash with no warning to the rider.
