The Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa has 4 recalls across the 2013–2024 model years, the most serious being a brake line fitting on 2024 models where an insufficiently tightened nut on the ABS unit can allow brake fluid to leak out, reducing braking force and extending stopping distances.
The 2022 model year has a front brake master cylinder defect where the brake lever travels further than normal before the brakes engage, reducing braking effectiveness. An earlier repair attempt for this issue on 2022 models did not fully resolve the problem, and a second repair is required for any motorcycle that went through that initial service. Going back to 2013 production, the ABS modulator can fail entirely, causing one or both wheels to lock under braking and raising the risk of a crash.
