4 recalls across 3 model years
The Suzuki Verona has 4 recalls covering 2004–2006 model years, with the most serious being a daytime running light module that generates excess heat, can melt, and may start a vehicle fire; this affects all 2004–2006 vehicles.
On 2004 models, two additional recalls apply. The fuel system's adaptive control logic can lean out the air-to-fuel mix during deceleration, causing the engine to stall unexpectedly. There is also a stop lamp switch that can shift out of adjustment if upward pressure is applied to the brake pedal, leaving the brake lights on continuously even when the pedal is not being pressed, which can confuse drivers following behind.
