2 recalls across 1 model year
The Tesla Semi has 2 recalls affecting 2022 model year vehicles, the most serious being a parking brake valve module that can fail to engage when the driver releases the service brakes, leaving the vehicle free to roll away.
The second recall, also on 2022 models, involves the side door warning system. The door-open indicator only activates when the parking brake is not engaged, meaning a driver who sets the parking brake before opening the side door may get no warning if that door is not fully latched. The system also allows the operator to dismiss the unlatched-door alert, making it possible to drive away with the side door unsecured and able to swing open while moving.
