TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE RS Recalls

The Triumph Speed Triple RS has 4 recalls covering 2019 through 2024 model years, with the most serious being a rear brake disc bolt defect on 2022 models where loose bolts can contact surrounding components, lock the rear wheel, and cause a crash. On 2022-2024 models, the engine can overheat and cause the radiator fan motor to fail, allowing coolant to leak or spray onto hot components and raise the risk of burns or a loss of control. The 2022-2023 model years share a related issue where the fan motor itself can overheat and fail independently, again resulting in coolant spraying from the cooling system. Going back to 2019, the quickshifter assembly body can press against the gear change linkage and interfere with shifts, producing a missed gear or a false neutral and causing sudden unexpected deceleration.
