TRIUMPH SPRINT GT Recalls

The Triumph Sprint GT has 3 recalls covering the 2010–2013 model years, with the most serious affecting 2012–2013 models where an incorrect transmission detent spring can cause the gearbox to jump out of gear unexpectedly while riding, raising the risk of a crash. The 2011 Sprint GT has a recall involving the optional accessory top box, which can detach from its mounting carriage while in motion and strike other vehicles, objects, or bystanders nearby. On 2010 models, an oil dipstick of incorrect length gives inaccurate readings, which can lead to the engine running low on oil, seizing, and causing the rider to lose control.
