3 recalls across 2 model years
The Triumph Sprint ST 1050 has 3 recalls spanning the 2005–2010 production run, the most serious affecting 2005 models where a bolt connecting the rear suspension drag link can fracture, causing the suspension to drop and the mudguard to contact the tire, which can result in sudden loss of control.
The 2005 model year also has a recall for motorcycles fitted with the optional accessory luggage rack: the slide carriage in the rear rack assembly can lack sufficient lateral movement, reducing stability and raising the risk of a crash. On 2010 models, the engine oil filler plug and dipstick can be incorrectly sized, causing the dipstick to give a false oil level reading. If the oil level runs too low as a result, the engine can seize.
