TRIUMPH SPRINT ST 1050 ABS Recalls

The Triumph Sprint ST 1050 ABS has 1 recall affecting the 2005 model year, where the rear suspension drag link assembly can fail and allow the rear suspension to disconnect from the swingarm, causing the rear of the motorcycle to drop and the tire to contact the underside of the rear mudguard, which can result in loss of control and a crash. When the drag link lets go, the geometry that holds the rear suspension in place collapses, and the sudden tire-to-bodywork contact can lock or deflect the rear wheel without warning.
