The Triumph Trophy has 3 recalls spanning 1996 to 2017, with the most serious affecting 2013–2017 Trophy SE models where improperly routed front brake hose can damage ignition switch wiring, causing headlights or taillights to go dark or the engine to stall without warning. There is also a labeling issue on certain 2013 Trophy motorcycles built between September and November 2012, where an incorrect tire data label can lead owners to install the wrong replacement tires. Going back to the earliest production, 1996 models were built without the rear side reflectors required by lighting regulations.
