1 recall across 8 model years
The Victory Magnum has 1 recall covering 2010-2017 model years, where an engine misfire can cause the catalytic converter to overheat and melt the rear brake line and nearby wiring, reducing braking ability and raising the risk of a crash.
When the engine misfires, the catalytic converter runs hotter than normal. If riding continues, that heat can reach the rear brake line routed nearby, softening and eventually melting it. A compromised brake line loses fluid pressure, which weakens or eliminates rear braking. The surrounding wiring is also vulnerable to the same heat damage. This recall is shared across several related models from the same production run, including the Cross Country, Cross Country Tour, Cross Roads, and Hard Ball alongside the Magnum.
