3 recalls across 8 model years
The Volvo S60CC has 3 recalls covering 2011 through 2018 model years, with the most serious being a front seatbelt defect on 2016–2018 vehicles where the belt can fail to restrain an occupant properly in a crash, raising the risk of injury.
The 2017 model year has a separate airbag concern: the initiators inside the driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags can fail to ignite in a crash, leaving those airbags undeployed when they are needed most. Going back further, 2011–2017 models have a door latch component that can break, causing a door to feel closed when it is not fully secured. A door in that condition can swing open while driving.
