VOLVO V70XC Recalls

The Volvo V70XC has 1 recall affecting the 2002 model year, where a failing brake light relay can cause the left and right brake lights to stay on continuously or fail to illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed, removing a key signal to following drivers. The high-mount center brake light and other tail lights continue to function normally, but the loss of the two main brake lights reduces the warning visible to drivers behind the vehicle, particularly at lower mounting angles where those lights are most visible.
