VOLVO VH Recalls

The Volvo VH has 2 recalls covering the 2004 and 2006 model years, with the most serious being a wheel defect on 2006 models where wheels that were not properly pre-stressed can develop cracks over time and fail without warning, causing a crash. The 2004 model year has a separate rear suspension transverse beam recall where the casting can break while driving, sending fragments outward as projectiles, or dropping the beam low enough to drag on the road surface and create sparks that can ignite a fire.
