Defect
Certain vehicles may have a lower fuel fill pipe which will leak during certain situations (fuel fill, fuel slosh during maneuvers, etc.). The leaking occurs through small holes created by faulty projection welds that attach the mounting bracket to the pipe. In the presence of an ignition source, leaking fuel could ignite and result in personal injury.

Remedy
The lower fuel fill pipe will be replaced on affected vehicles.
