1987 GMC G SERIES Recalls — Canada & USA

The 1987 GMC G Series has two recalls, the more serious being a fuel fill pipe that can leak gasoline during fueling or cornering, creating a fire risk if the fuel contacts an ignition source. The second recall involves the sliding side door's rear latch, which on some vehicles may have been replaced during a prior service visit with a latch that was not properly riveted. In a crash, that latch can fail to hold the door closed, raising the risk of injury to occupants.
