Defect
On certain motorcycles, the fuel hose from the fuel filter to the throttle assembly can rub against the bottom of the fuel pump plate and develop a leak. In the presence of a spark or flame, the leaking fuel could cause a fire and personal injury.
Safety Risk

Remedy
Fuel hose will be replaced with a molded hose that curves away from the fuel pump plate. Also, a new bracket and grommet will be installed to hold the new hose in position. The return hose will be replaced at the same time.
