Defect
On certain vehicles, the rear fog lamps may not turn on when they are switched on.
Safety Risk
Rear fog lamps that do not turn on could decrease the vehicle’s visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the software settings in the body controller.
