Defect
On certain AMG models, the vehicle type printed on the compliance label is incorrect. The vehicle type should be "MPV/VTUM" instead of "PC/VT". Canadian regulations require the vehicle type to be identified on the compliance label.
Safety Risk
This small error does not affect safety.
Remedy
This is not a recall. Mercedes-Benz has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles have the correct vehicle type printed on the compliance label.
