The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA Class has 4 recalls, the most notable being a missing airbag warning label on the outside of the driver's sun visor, which means the driver lacks printed guidance about airbag risks and child restraint recommendations.
The sun visor label issue required a second round of inspections after earlier repair attempts were found to be incomplete on some vehicles. On certain AMG models, the compliance label printed on the vehicle lists the wrong vehicle type, though this has no effect on how the vehicle operates or its safety. There is also an electrical concern affecting interior switch lighting: if the hazard lights are turned on while the ignition is off, the illumination on certain interior switches may not come back on when the ignition is later turned on, leaving those controls unlit while driving at night or in low-light conditions.
