The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA Class has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a loose fuse box in the engine bay that can vibrate and damage internal fuses, causing sudden loss of engine power, power steering, and electronic stability and braking systems.

The second recall concerns the middle rear seat belt, which may not be properly anchored to the vehicle body. The belt can detach when used or come loose during a crash, leaving that seating position without functional restraint. The third recall is a compliance issue with no effect on driving safety: certain vehicles display a text-based brake warning ("BRAKE") rather than the symbol-based indicator required by Canadian regulations, though the underlying brake system function and warning accuracy are not affected.
