Defect
On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 22C11 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-307) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, the warnings, tell-tales and gauges may not display properly in the instrument panel cluster. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 4.2" monochromatic instrument panel cluster.
Safety Risk
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display properly could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software.
