4 recalls across 3 model years
The Aston Martin Virage has 4 recalls covering 2012–2014 model years, the most serious being a throttle pedal arm that can fracture on 2012–2014 vehicles, causing the engine to drop to idle and leaving the driver unable to accelerate, which raises the risk of a crash.
Two additional recalls affect 2012 models specifically. On vehicles equipped with the 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission, a communication error between the engine and transmission control modules can prevent the transmission's park pawl from engaging when the car is placed in park. If the vehicle is stopped on a slope and the driver exits without applying the parking brake, it can roll away. There is also an interior door latch issue on 2012 models where the unlocking mechanism can fail after the car has been locked from outside, potentially trapping an occupant inside.
