10 recalls across 6 model years
The Bentley Flying Spur has 10 recalls spanning 2014 through 2025, with the most serious recent issue affecting 2025 models where the high-pressure fuel pump mounting on V8 Evo engines can be insufficiently tightened, allowing fuel to leak near potential ignition sources and raising the risk of an engine fire.
On the 2021-2023 model years, the rear entertainment screens mounted to the back of the front seatbacks can be incorrectly secured, allowing the screen to break free in a crash and strike rear occupants. Related to occupant protection on 2021-2022 models, the front passenger seatbelt may be missing its automatic locking retractor, which means a child safety seat installed in the front passenger position may not be held securely in a crash. The 2021-2022 owner's manual also incorrectly describes how the passenger airbag behaves when the "Passenger Airbag On" indicator is lit, which can cause occupants to position themselves in ways that increase injury risk if the airbag deploys.
The 2020 model year has two separate fire-related concerns: one involves a fuel tank that may not have been properly welded, allowing fuel to leak, and the other is a compliance recall for a top-view rear camera whose housing lacks drainage, allowing moisture to accumulate and obscure the camera image while reversing.
Going back to 2014, certain vehicles have a loose battery cable that can overheat and start a fire.
