The 2021 Bentley Flying Spur has 5 recalls, the most serious involving front seatbelt assemblies that may be missing an automatic locking retractor, which can fail to properly secure a child safety seat in a crash.
A second occupant safety concern involves the rear entertainment screens mounted to the backs of the front seats. The retention brackets on these screens may have been incorrectly installed, meaning a screen can break free in a crash and become a projectile inside the cabin. Two recalls cover this same screen retention issue and have been treated as one problem here. There are also two recalls related to the owner's manual, which incorrectly describes how the front passenger airbag behaves when the "Passenger Airbag On" indicator is lit. The manual states the airbag will not deploy in that condition, which is inaccurate and could lead occupants to position themselves in ways that increase injury risk if the airbag fires.
