Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver-front airbag inflator.
On certain vehicles, the wrong fabric may have been used for the passenger-front airbag cushion. As a result, the passenger-front airbag may not inflate properly in a crash.

An airbag that does not inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you shouldn't transport a passenger in the front passenger seat until the recall repairs have been completed.

On certain trucks, the side curtain airbag inflators could be defective. As a result, the driver and/or passenger side curtain airbag inflator(s) could deploy without a crash. If this happens, parts could be propelled toward vehicle occupants.

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace both side curtain airbag modules.
On certain vehicles, the instrument panel may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the instrument panel topper could detach and be propelled toward vehicle occupants when the passenger-front airbag inflates in a crash.
Safety Risk
A panel that is propelled towards vehicle occupants could create an increased risk of injury.
Remedy
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the instrument panel topper.
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the occupant restraint controller (ORC) module to turn off while driving. If this happens, the airbags, seat belt pretensioners, and electronic stability control (ESC) system would not work.
Note: This problem would cause the airbag warning light, antilock braking system (ABS) light, and seat belt reminder light to display. This recall also affects certain RAM 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cab incomplete vehicles.

Airbags and seat belt pretensioners that don't work could increase the risk of injury in a crash. An electronic stability control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the occupant restraint controller (ORC) module software.
On certain vehicles, the side curtain airbag inflator(s) could rupture and separate unexpectedly. As a result, a piece of metal from the inflator could be propelled toward vehicle occupants with or without the airbag(s) deploying. This could also cause the side curtain airbag(s) not to inflate properly in a crash.

On a small number of vehicles, a connection in the wiring for the passenger-front airbag may not have been secured properly and could loosen. As a result, the airbag may not inflate in a crash.

An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
None of the affected vehicles have been delivered to customers. General Motors will instruct dealers to repair the wiring for the passenger-front airbag before each vehicle is delivered.
On certain vehicles, the inflator for the side curtain airbag could rupture at the inflator weld joint and cause the side curtain airbag to inflate without a crash.
Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall nos. 2023-520 and 2023-693. Certain vehicles that were repaired under those recalls, also require this repair.

Remedy
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the left and/or right-side curtain airbag(s).
This recall applies to vehicles that may be equipped with a replacement sport steering wheel that has a Takata airbag. Long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, may eventually degrade the propellant contained in the driver-front airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag assembly, preventing its proper function.
Safety Risk
If the vehicle is involved in a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, BMW advises you not to drive the vehicle until the recall repairs have been completed. BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealership to arrange for an inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the driver-front airbag module.
