BMW 745LE Recalls

The BMW 745Le xDrive has 2 recalls covering 2019-2021 model years, with the most serious being a high-voltage hybrid battery defect on 2020-2021 vehicles where debris inside the battery cells can cause an internal short circuit and raise the risk of fire. The second recall affects 2019-2021 models and involves the engine management software, which can cut off brake boost assist during engine start. The brakes still function mechanically without the assist, but stopping distances increase and the pedal requires noticeably more force, raising the risk of a crash.
