3 recalls across 1 model year
The BMW 750IL has 3 recalls, all affecting the 1995 model year, with the most serious being a rear suspension arm mounting eye on the right axle hub carrier that can crack and break while driving, causing a sudden loss of control.
The 1995 model also has a fuel delivery hose that can seep fuel at either end where it meets the metal fuel line, creating a fuel odor and raising the risk of a fire. A front coil spring recall affects the same year: road grit and gravel can work into the lower spring mounts during winter driving, notch and pit the rubber, and eventually crack or break the bottom coil of the spring, which can alter ride height and produce noise while underway.
