3 recalls across 1 model year
The BMW HP2 Enduro has 3 recalls, all affecting the 2006 model year, with the most serious being a rear wheel mounting flange that can crack, allowing the mounting bolts to loosen and the rear wheel to detach while riding, causing loss of stability and a crash. A front suspension fastener on the Paralever link can also work loose over time due to insufficient torque, and if it separates from its housing, handling becomes unpredictable and a crash can result. There is also a fuel system concern: 2006 models that were previously serviced under an earlier recall using the support ring remedy, but did not receive a fuel pump replacement at that time, may have a fuel leak that can ignite and cause a fire.
