BMW K1600B Recalls

The BMW K1600B has 3 recalls covering 2017–2020 model years, with the most serious being a transmission defect on 2017–2020 models where internal parts can engage two gears simultaneously or fracture, locking the rear wheel and causing a sudden loss of stability. The rear suspension also has a defect affecting both 2017 and 2019 models where a link strut connecting the suspension to the frame can crack and break. When it fails, the suspension drops and contacts the rear wheel, which can cause an immediate loss of control.
